To give any prescription for diabetes there is a need to know following details : Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, present dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, BP readings, lipid profile, serum creatinine, urea and microalbuminuria. Another important aspect is looking at yur weight, with a BMI of 28 kgs/Sq meter(Normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter), you are already fairly over weight. Your ideal body weight should be about 71 kgs, which means there is an excess of 15 kgs. This is a major hindrance in achieving better or desired glucose control. Thanks.
