Hello, I am female 23 years old I have 4 cats since I was 17 years old. I read about toxoplasmosis and that it could affect pregnancy now I am not pregnant and I am not in a relationship and I do not know if I have toxoplasmosis or not. My question is if I got toxoplasmosis long ago since I got cats, will this affect my pregnancy in the future or I will be immune to the disease and nothing will happen and no treatment will be needed? To be more clear if woman got toxoplasmosis before marriage by long time 3 years for example will this affect her pregnancy in the future or she will become immune to the disease. Thanks.
