Dear sir/madam we had tested thyroid test recently for my misses results came like this, t3 -109 ng/dl, t4: 7.4 ?g/dl tsh - 9.56 ?iu/ml now she is used thyronorm 12.5 mcg tablet kindly I requested to you sir pl tel me which dose is suitable for that results patient details patient age is 30 years and weight 60 kgs and height is ,5.2,she is suffering with headache and leg pains so pl. Give suggestions which dose can I use pl suggest me best regards p rajasekhar reddy.

Hello, Thanks for the query. When a person with hypothyroidism is on treatment with adequate dosage of Levothyroxine, TSH is maintained at 3 to 4 mU/L, at which all the symptoms are in check. So please check the TSH after starting the treatment, after 6 to 8 weeks. Then come back with the answer. Unless TSH level (post treatment) is known, no dosage can be advised. Thanks.
