Am taking inspiral sr 20 mg thrice a day to evening and in night am taking anti anxiety medications likes lexapro 10 mg and duolextine 60 mg. Yesterday only I started armodafinil 150 mg, to replace inspiral 20 mg because it is more potent and less side effects. Since yesterday only am suffering from, slight headache, nausea, breathlessness, unable to talk long because of breathing, agitation etc. Is these side effects are change of medicine? How many days will take to become normal? Guidance plz.

Armodafinil is not a good replacement of inspiral. Don't make such changes without consulting a psychiatrist it can be very harmful. Yes such side effects are due to sudden change is medication. It may take few weeks to be normal again. All the best.

Armodafinil and inspiral are not drugs that replace each other. They belong to two very different classes of medicines and have very different effects from each other, hence kindly do not compare the two. Your treating psychiatrist may have used it for a different purpose. And some of the symptoms that you have listed could be due to a new drug (armodafinil) introduction that could wave off in a weeks time and some symptoms appear to be that of high (60 mg of propranolol) dose suddenly been stopped. In either case you should require a review by your treating doctor if these symptoms stay longer than a week.
