Hello, I am taking beta blocker (metolar xr. 25)from 1 month and my triglyceride level is 205 mg ang hdl is 40. Is beta blocker harmful for me? I am suffering from palpitations and high bp.

Hi , nice question i must say. Your question , your doubt is genuine.. but beta blockers have much more benefits than harm and at 25 mg dose its dyslipidemia side effect is not so prominent.. also get your sugars tested Tc

lipid changes are common with beta blockers, but not of much concern. Beta� Selective on lipid medicines will have less effect
