The actions of all these medicines are at different steps of coagulation cascade. So the doctor decides according to the need of patient and his liver status, platelets counts, aptt level, inr ratio, prothrombin time etc. So a fixed combination cannot be given to every patient. The mefenamic acid and trenexa combination is used when spasmodic pain of smooth muscles is associated with bleeding eg. Menstrual bleeding with pain.
