I am 52 years old suffering from constipation. I am diabetic for the last 2 years and I have hypothyroid. I was taking metformin 250 mg for sugar complaint and thyronorm 12.5 mg for hypothyroid. While the sugar and thyroid are in good control, I have recently started struggling from severe constipation and corresponding problem gas. For this, my doctor has advised to consume cetapin xr 500 in place of metformin 250 mg. I have been taking this tablet for the last 20 days. My doctor also prescribed pre/pro (daily 2 tables for 15 days). Now, after consuming pre/pro for 15 days, I feel a little better with regard to gas problem whereas the constipation problem still persists. Of course, I have been struggling with this since childhood. But, it has been severe these days. Kindly give a longstanding solution to my problem as I am not in a position to face this.

If you are suffering with prolonged constipation, gas, pain in nerves problem, perhaps these are the sings of kidney stones. Treatment like sound waves to break up your stones, parathyroid gland surgery, laser etc. Are very effective. Seek proper consultation and prescription before go for any medication.
