Dear lybrate-user, please write the chemical name of the tablet to get proper answers. I don't know what fluorescent 40 and serra 100 mg contains. Just for your information: fluvoxamine and sertraline - both belong to ssri group of drugs. Both can be used for ocd. Any ssri is good for you as long as you get benefit and tolerate the side effects in the long run. Ocd treatment is for a long term. So, whichever doctor is nearby, to whom you can go repeatedly, is good for you. You can discuss the side effects with her/him and she/he will increase the dose depending on your improvement. She/he may even shift to the other drug. If the one she/he prescribed is not giving good result in due course. Unless you take it, you will never know its effect or side effect.
