I have been taking 150 ml mg zoloft at lunch and 50 mg trazodone for anxiety and sleep at bedtime. I see that a potential interaction is qt prolongation. I am 33 years old and healthy but that scares me when I read that is that something to worry about? Are these medicines commonly combined for depression and anxiety and sleep?

Yes, they are very safe and highly effective. All medicines will have a side effect, but only if taken at a very high dose or for many many years without the supervision of the doctor. Even paracetamol (crocin) so commonly used for fever, has so many side effects if you read about it, which will scare you. But companies just mention about all possible side effects, even those with less than < 1% chance, to avoid legal issues. Just trust your doctor and take the medicines as advised. And do not google for stuff unnecessarily, it will only harm you. Only google for things which the doctor advises. Continue taking the medicines. Don't worry.

This is rare combination, get a cardiologist opinion if the same can be continued, else you can consult and ask your psychiatrist to modify the prescription.
