I am 27 years, male, student. I have a small lump on my back since last 2-3 years. It doesn't pain or create any problem. My far relative uncle had a lump under his armpit and was recently diagnosed with 2nd stage cancer when his lumps suddenly increased. I want to ask that: 1. What can this be? 2. Should I consult an oncologist? If yes, will he take me seriously because I have no problems as such right now.

Lipomas. If you have a round, moveable lump under your skin, it may be a lipoma. These fatty masses feel soft, doughy, or rubbery. They usually appear on your neck, shoulders, back, or arms. But we have to look into the details of the problem. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.
