Hi. Im 45 years old. 15 years back I was suffering from depression. I was prescribed anti depressants like ativan 2 mg n protien 25 mg for 6 months. But I did not stop taking. The problem now is I don get sleep problems if I do not take them. I have developed sleep disturbance from last four months even after taking them. What is the solution now. I am worried.

Prothiaden is an antidepressant, but ativan is not. It gives just sleep. You need to consult a psychiatrist as the prescription seems primitive and may not be able to get you out of depression or give you a safe sleep. Good luck.
