I have undergone kidney transplant. And have diabetes a and hypertension. I am on human actrapid 20-30-15 , injected 0-0-28 and cyblex m xr 30/500 0-0-1 with other immuno suppressive drugs. My random yesterday at 5 pm was 310 and fasting today 234. Please advice.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given, With Kidney transplant it is better to avoid Metformin. Please let me know your serum creatinine and urea as there is a need to look at eGFR. Please tell me whether you are on only Actrapid insulin or is there another basal insulin added? Because in your case it is necessary to control blood glucose with Insulins only (Basal & rapid acting). Present glucose level is too high. Ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg and HbA1c% <6.8% Thanks.
