Hello sir, my son is 18 months old and weight is 10 kgs only. He will not eat food rice 5 to 8 spoons and he will have ragi malt. He will not eat any tiffins or any hard food. He just eats only smooth going food. He is not chewing at all. One of our doctor in bangalore suggested to give neopeptine syrup 2.5 ml 3 times a day. Will it really helpful baby to eat food?

Weight is not a matter of concern. It's a matter of patient training, persuasion with love and affection. Scolding will not help neither the medicines. Take him for meals along with family and let him see and experience what you eat.

Nothing to do with niopeptin. Keep feeding him semisolid foods. Gradually he will learn to chew. Give him milk product, pulses and cereal.
