Hi doctor, I have thyroid and taking 75 mg thyronorm tablet. But I like to have millets daily .so I read in google having millet will affect thyroid hormone. So how much I can consume millet per day or shall I increase thyronorm tablet into 100 mg. Please suggest.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Millets have some antithyroxine action, so better to avoid when a person has hypothyroidism Dosage of Levothyroxine should only be adjusted if TSH level is more than desired. Taking millets and increasing dosage of Levothyroxine is not advisable. Thanks.
