I am 23 years old I am suffering from ocd last 2 year I also did rtms and ect therapy from ahmedabad my ongoing medication is 1 divaltec er 750 2. Cap fludac 60 mg 3. Respin plus 2 mg 4. Inderal la 40 now my problem is that I am feeling fearful when I am going outside from home and interact with people please advise me what should I do.

Sir for ocd, you need a higher dose of ssri type medicines as compared to the normal dose used for depression. In case of your current medicine, for ocd, fluoxetine (fludac) is only effective from doses of 60-120 mg. So I would advise you to raise the fludac to maybe 2 tablets of 40 mg or 1 capsule of 60 and 1 capsule of 40, so that you are at atleast 80-100 mg of fluoxetine. If it does not work, you should take fluovoxamine which is also very good for ocd, or try clomipramine. Both are also effective. In addition, you should consult a clinical psychologist for undergoing a few sessions of cbt.
