I want to clarify some doubts regarding covid 19 guidelines. A) should I wash my hands regularly if I am not going out? B) if I should then. Please specify how many times (so that we do not over wash our hands like ocd patients). Like before meal, after toilet. Or .4 times a day .etc. C) given that we indian eat with hands which is contradictory to who guidelines. How are we going to eat? I hope these guidelines are for outdoor use only. Please clarify.

Hello and welcome to Lybrate. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. It is better to wash your hands many times a day. You can eat using your hands if you wash your hands with soap for more than 20 seconds, before and after food. I suggest telephonic counseling and online psychotherapy for you. You can contact me for further advice and treatment options. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
