My mother is 78 years old. Through vegan diet and exercise got free from her diabetic medicine after doctor's recommendation. Switching to this lifestyle has also reduced her high blood pressure dosage from prolomet xl100 now to prolomet xl 25. However still advised to continue her nitrocontin 6.4, ecosprin gold 20 and nicardia-retard 10 mg half tablet. 2 days before mom suddenly fainted although for very short time. I checked her blood pressure and it was 120/78 and sugar levels were also normal. She gets headache at night since a week blood pressure at these times is also pretty ok like 128/70. Is this side effect of nitrocontin? Is there something to worry here? She had angina pain long back when all these heart related medicines were started. Her angiography is not done. What can I do in this lockdown period since fainting is worrying me and can not take the risk of taking her out for check up.
