You can make it forminpg 1 for te being. And repeat test and get back to me.

As your father's sugars are controlled, you can reduce the dose to formin pg1 and check blood sugars after 1 month. If normal at that time you can even reduce the dose of formin pg 1 to half tablet.

Please let me know following details: HbA1c%, serum creatinine, urea, microalbuminuria, lipud profile, his age, weight, height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise,  BP readings. Since when glucose levels are coming lower? Please come  back with all the details, then only i will be able to guide. Because woth present information it is not possible to give any suggestions. There may be multiple reasons for current problem. We need more information like any symptoms of hypoglycemia like giddiness, sweating, increased hunger; diet pattern, any associated kidney, heart,liver problem; current hba1c. You have not even mentioned regarding how many tablets he is taking daily. Based on limited information provided I may suggest to reduce tablet and get hba1c and creatinine and consult doctor.
