Budecort may cause fungal infection of the tongue which is usually red in color, but may sometimes present as whitish pink. Kindly use the inhaler with the spacer amd for now, use candid mouth paint while the child is about to sleep and continue using the mouth wash. If not this, the patch can be caused due to vitamin b deficiency and oral ulcers. So you may add vitamin b-complex one capsule twice daily for 2 months! for more detailed opinion share the picture next time.

If there is no pain, it is probably due to the use of budecort. You can check with the doctor who had prescribed it as to whether they can provide an alternative. It should not be an issue if it is not growing rapidly and is devoid of pain.
