My grandmother aged 91 years is suffering from diabetic neuropathy. One month ago she recovered from pneumonia rll. She has renal impairment also. Ct scan revealed gross to moderate hydro nephrosis in one kidney and puj obstruction? She is also taking teneglyptin 20 mg ,amlodipine 5 mg and deriphyllin 300 od also and basalog insulin 6 units daily and also cobadex. She can take. It causes drowsiness, so one has to be very careful.in view of her age she must have an attendant by her side at least for night. She can try elvix gel for local application.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details. She can take the tablet mentioned for controlling the peripheral neuropathy. The drugs in that have no adverse effect on kidneys. Thanks.
