Thanks for your query. You did not mention your height, weight, bmi, duration of diabetes, whether you have any associated comorbities or not. If you have associated atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or diabetic kidney disease, then gibtulio (empagliflozin) is a very good choice, it have some extra benefit beyond glycaemic control. Increase in dose of metformin may be another option along with lifestyle modification for glycaemic control. Consult with a specialist for necessary dose adjustment & prevention of complications associated with diabetes.

Yes. You can take gibtiluo. Precautions drink lot of water. This tablet may cause itching in urine and burning sensation. If such thing happens stop it.
