Hello doctors, I used to eat rajnigandha but since lockdown it's not easily available. I craved for nicotine and my situation was really bad. So, I bought a packet of tobacco and tried dipping under the lips for first time. I have never tried the dipping so the first time was quite painful for my lips. After keeping it for 15 mins in the lips, I spit it out. Now my lips are completely red and when I run my tongue with it, white membranes come out of it. Drinking hot tea or coffee is painful too. I want to quit tobacco immediately but I wanted to know if this is cancerous symptom. I can open my mouth completely and I do not have any patches in my mouth. Only this problem under the lips because of dipping tobacco for the first time. Also can you help me with the craving of nicotine please.
