My son is now 6 months old. When he was one month old some rashes appeared on his face and that turned into white patches. After that we consult a doctor he gave elocome medicine. After that he gave one mix solution. One content of this solution is melanocyl. After that I applied that medicine to my baby, s face and exposed to sunlight for 1 min. I tried this one only for 4 or 5 times. After that I went with my baby outside and now that area became more dark. Now its 3 months over and that scar is still there. Will it go? What should I do?

Stop applying that on the face. U can apply lactocalamine lotion instead. Contact dermatologist.

You shouldn't have exposed your baby to sunlight. Use emollients liberally on your baby's skin. Avoid harsh soap. It should reduce in a few weeks.

It's very young age. And the scar can easily go. please get it examined either by meeting a doctor or by sharing pics in Lybrate online consultation. After proper evaluation one can decide how much damage is there and what treatment shud be done. Avoid using otc products without proper consultation.
