My wife report has been tested positive for pregnancy since from one year. She had thyroid problems. Last time when she conceived then a doctors say that baby growth has been stopped after two months and they advised for abortion. May be that can be due to thyroid problems. Please suggest any precautionary measures and currently she is taking thyrox 50 .did she need more. Please please suggest.

Hi. Congrats that shes pregnant again. Thyroid will not cause abortions don't worry. Tell me how many months pregnant she is at present? Last period date? And last thyroid test report? She should respect the thyroid test if it is done one month back and based on the new report we will decide if we need to increase the dose or continue the same 50 mcg. Thank you.
