Sir I am a diabetic for ten years on teneligliptin 20 mg, repace 50 mg novastat 5 mg. Hb1ac 6.4 but now my fasting sugar is 133 by one touch select glucometer and pps is 140 .i take teneligliptin at 8 a. M everyday. Please suggest. Why my morning sugar is high? Please please suggest.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Fasting glucose 133 mg is high, should ideally be < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg. However, PP glucose & HbA1c% seem to be quite good. Most often FBG depends upon night time food intake. So if that is controlled, then FBG can be brought down. Another aspect about which there is absolutely no infomation given is : weight, height, extent of daily exercises being done, dietary pattern, BP readings and lipid profile. Unless these details are known, no specific comments can be made. Thanks.
