As the spine problem is identified as Disc bulge, which is a physical defect. so as long as you have this defect you will be having pain etc., The hip pain will be due to changes in the joint. So continue the medicines advised by your doctor and practice some protective measures like not standing for long hours. If you require to stand for long duration try keep the back straight and keep on changing body weight on each leg alternatively. when you sit, Support your back completely by having cushion/pillow in the back rest. when you are lifting weights like bucket of water, be concious of your back and bend your knees and then lift the weight. Have some physical activity like morning walk for one hour. when you sleep keep a pillow between your knees to reduce your hip and gluteal pain.

hai mam, disc bulge is a serious condition but easy to handle with lifestyle correction. once you have a disc herniation it won't go in 100%. but 90 correction is enough for a normal life without much pain. this can be achieved by Ayurveda external therapy like abhyanga, kizhi, dhaara etc. along with strictly guided exercise/yoga. any wrong exercise will make your condition worse. eat good to avoid constipation. constipation increase disc related pain. maintain good posture for sitting, sleeping, carrying weight etc don't jogg or run if you have pain. use hot bag to relax pain. this should be consulted directly with an Ayurvedic doctor, and do follow up. depending on percentage of disc prolapse and number of disc involved it may take 1-6 months follow up to recover completely. thank you. god bless you.
