Hello, myself sangeetha my tsh level is 77 I cannot go to hospital since I have 4 months old baby. Already i'm taking 50 mg thyronorm tablet my thyroid was normal during pregnancy yet I continued 50 mg dose after delivery just took blood test and found my thyroid level s high so kindly suggest me the dose of tablet I should take.

Hello, Thanks for the query. TSH 77 mU/L is too high. Usually post delivery TSH tends to go down. However, since it is so high, there is a need to increase the dose to 75 mcg per day. Then check TSH after 6 weeks to see if the level has come down to the expected range of 3 to 4 mU/L. Thanks.
