Escitalopram does not cause significant weight gain. Keep doing moderate aerobic exercise to stay fit.

Nexito (escitalopram) is less likely to cause weight gain. Even if it does, it won't be more than 2-3 kgs over 5-6 months. But this weight gain can be easily prevented by proper lifestyle changes. Exercise regularly, atleast walk for 30 min daily. Eat high fibre and low fat food. Eat salads. This will control your weight. You have to understand that controlling your ocd is far more important to maintain your occupational functioning as compared to the weight gain. I know airlines are strict with weight control, but it's upto you to control your weight. Be more active and less lazy. Make small changes in your routine. It will help you a long way.
