Hello, if you don't have pain in your legs or numbness in your legs, you don't have to take pregaba stop taking pregaba. It is needed for nerve root pain. Not for back pain. Also you need to consider some other causes for your back pain, like vitamin d deficiency or calcium deficiency. Proper investigation is necessary to find out root cause as back pain may start again after stopping muscle relaxants. Consult me on Lybrate for detailed discussion and consultation.

Hello, thanks for reaching out. Isolated back pain without radiating pain to legs is most likely due to a muscular problem and less likely due to a neurological compression. Pregaba m 75 is known to cause dizziness and sleepiness which can be quite disturbing. I would like to know more about your symtoms and discuss your problems in detail by a personalised consultation. Feel free to contact for the same. For more details on back pain and back strengthening exercises visit

Hi lybrate-user pregabalin is known to cause dizziness in some patients, however it is expected to reduce after first few days. If the symptoms persist after 3 days, you can be put on an alternate drug. I have two additional comments for you: 1. Pregabalin is prescribed for a longer duration usually, so you might need to continue it for more than 5 days if it suits you well. 2. Pregabalin is not the end of story for you. You need to do suitable exercises for long term pain relief.

Pregabalin and muscle relaxant both can have the side effect of dizziness. If pregabalin is the cause, then most likely symptoms are to get subsided within a week or so of medicine intake once the body get habituated to the drug. Pregabalin can be taken for longer periods of time but only under medical supervision. However muscle relaxants should not be taken for a longer period of time. You can contact with a detailed history of yours for further advise.
