I am pankaj bulwani age 32 being diagnosed serum uric acid 9.48 having knee pain. Can I take feburic 40 twice or once in a day and for how many months I can take.

Hello, your uric acid levels are too high. We need to get them under 7 atleast. Feburic is a drug for maintaining low levels. It will not decrease the levels to normal. Also you are having knee pain, so this uric acid has started affected your major joints. Hello thanks for reaching out. Your uric acid levels are pretty high, leading to joint pain. Taking uric acid lowering drugs during an acute attack can sometimes lead to increased pain in joints.
