Hello, your uric acid levels are too high. We need to get them under 7 atleast. Feburic is a drug for maintaining low levels. It will not decrease the levels to normal. Also you are having knee pain, so this uric acid has started affected your major joints. I usually start patients on other anti uric acid drugs and when levels come down we continue on feburic or other drugs like allopurinol etc. Consult me on Lybrate for detailed discussion and prescription.

Hello thanks for reaching out. Your uric acid levels are pretty high, leading to joint pain. Taking uric acid lowering drugs during an acute attack can sometimes lead to increased pain in joints. You instead require anti inflammatory medications, cox 2 inhibitor and colchicine can help. Feel at liberty to contact for a personalised consultation and detailed evaluation. Important precaution: reduce protein intake in diet. Completely cut out on alcohol and non vegetarian diet.
