Hey I slept at 2 am and sudden my phone rang I awake at 5 am 15 days back and hit 2 to 3 vertigo episode back to back very short duration I am on escitalopram 20, and etizola 0.5 tds since 2 years since lockdown my lifestyle is bad late night sleeping and gaming now I am on vertin 8 bd initially tds now I have always fear of vertigo home bound in short hypochondriac feel. Today after noon sleep when I sit I feel awful and anxious minor sensation can gives me bad anxiety now m on vertin 8 bd no any associated symptoms like hearing loss gait etc .from past 3 days I started brisk walk too. But again today feel anxious and fear of sitting and walking. Kindly guide me.

Your anxiety may have started since last 15 days when you got that sudden phone call. Your also have jitteriness, uneasiness and restlessness. It mostly points towards an anxiety disorder. Why were you started on escitalopram 2 years ago? Was it for depression or anxiety? Anycase if you still don’t feel better with the medication then perhaps we should change it. Do these lifestyle changes 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9.
