Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. The glucose levels mentioned are two high. There is a possibility of developing complications like ketoneurea. Since you have totally stopped all the medications, the situation has turned totally bad. Please start all the drugs that you were taking in the same manner. Then check blood glucose after a week. Ideally fbg should be < 100 mg, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% considering your age. Also check your urine for ketones. This should be done immediately. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, no drugs can be prescribed. Hence I can not suggest any changes. If you seek detailed advice then please come in a private conversation with following details: diet patter, extent of daily exercise, hba1c%, lipid profile, serum creatinine and urea, bp reading and details of urine examination about ketones. Then I will be able to guide. Or else please consult your local physician and get the whole thing sorted out. You have taken a very serious risk by discontinuing the treatment. I hope you understand the gravity of the situation. Thanks.
