I had an abdominal ultrasound of 7 weeks and 2 days with present fetal pole. I am mthfr positive. Any risk of miscarriage? I am on ecosprin 150 mg and enclex 40 inj daily.

Hi, you have written about 7wks and 2 days preg with fetal pole present, not about fetal cardiac pulsations if no cardiac pulsations then chances of miscarriage if crdiac pulsation are present then go for nt scan at 11 wks double marker at 11-13 wks triple marker test 16-18 wks mthfr is a metabolic disorder and causes genetic ,congenital abnormalities can discuss with me on lybrate ok.

Hi, what's your prior obstetric history? We need to know why was mthfr done in the first place. Yes this condition does put you at a higher risk of miscarriage. I hope you are taking prenatal vitamins. Yes ecosprin and enclex is recommended in these cases. This reduces your chance of miscarriage.
