Got my blood test done yesterday after one year. I am a diabetic patient since last six years & my blood pressure is mostly 150/100 with pulse rate above 90 most of the time. Following results observed high, 1.triglycerides 373 2. Esr 18 3. eosinophil 10 4. Absolute eosinophil count 0.83 5. Red cell distribution width 16.8 6. Vitamin d 14.39 7. Vitamin b12 1210 8. High sensitivity crp 3.7 9. Very low density lipoprotein 74.6 10 creatinine 0.6 12. Uric acid 7.1 13. Sgot 65 I take following medicines for sugar - istamet 50/500, azulix mf1/500 for bp - telmikind 80 & metolar 50. Sugar under control fbs 104 pps 123 ha1bc 5.8 please advice.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the given details. Following are my observationes. 1) your bp is not in control. Ideally it should be 120 to 130 / 60 to 80 mm hg. Pulse is fine, even though a bit higher. 2) there is no mention of weight, only height is given, so there is no way to know whether your bmi is within normal limit or not. 3) in spite of telmisartan 80 mg and metoprolol 50 mg bp is not in control. There is a need to add an additional drug. 4) tgl 373 is a bit high. But needs no treatment. However, there is no mention of total cholesterol, hdl and ldl cholesterol both are more important than others mentioned. Particularly ldl. 5)vitamin d3 is lower than normal lower limit, needs to be supplemented. 6) b12 is high. 7) uric acid has just crossed the upper limit. Unless there are any symptoms related to joints nothing to worry. 8) sgot is higher than normal upper limit, suggestive of some liver related issue. It could be fatty liver disease. Since weight is not mentioned, difficult to comment. Even other liver enzymes like sgpt and ggt are not mentioned. Diabetes seems to be well controlled, that is good. Your sugar is controlled hence continue same medicine. Bp is not fully controlled, hence need to increase its its medicines.
