From last month I noticed a black whitish patch in my left cheek first when I consulted a dentist he told me wisdom teeth is erupting but when I met new dentist yesterday she told me you have starting dysplasia problem but it will be cured. I was having tobacco chewing habit which I have quitted already two months back. Will I get fine please help me. Medication provided by dentist- turbocort gel rexidin m mouthwash sm-fibro tablet. If dysplasia biopsy does not show any cancerous evidence you should be good to go if you quit tobacco and maintain oral hygiene.

Hey there, the place where you constantly place tobacco gets affected by the chemicals released from it and so changes start to occur at the site. It is very good to know that you have quit the habit but the changes that have occured will take time to reverse. Furthermore the prescribed medicines will prevent further damage by stopping the process at this stage. Apply turbocort only if you feel burning while eating. Instead you can make a paste of turmeric in mustard oil or desi ghee and apply it over the area. Kindly donot rub but gently massage. Start having lots of water and salads, fruits.
