Hi good evening, I would like to ask the question regarding my fathers skin problem he was diagnosed with lichen planus 2 years back and he is still eating the tab levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg and tab fexofenadine 180 mg but still he says it?s very itching I would like to know the details regarding the lichen planus and any treatment in homeopathy or allopathy please recommend please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, lichen planus is a chronic disease. It may take years also or may be months only to get treated. As it is autoimmune disease, course depends upon ,how body heals itself. We give some immunemodulators along with specific treatment target to lichen planus. It usually subsides in 6 to 12 months. Also, it is important that diagnosis is correct, images can help us.
