I am having severe hormonal cystic acne at my jawline, neck, underside of cheeks. I have consulted dermatologist, had on medication, oral and superficial. It worked for 1-2 months, I have completed the course, consulted again, but now they are same as before, no results. I was prescribed benzoyl peroxide 4% wash, it worked initially, but now I became severely allergic to it. Now I am on medication, am using retinol 1% at night and salicylic acid gel on acnes. But it's not very effective. Please suggest me some treatment to get rid of these completely. I have a regular cycle of 28 days, lasting 5 days menstruation, moderate flow. I have rheumatoid arthritis for which I am taking medication (hcqs200, defcort6 mg, dulane20 mg) my skin is combination with super oily t-zone. I take good care to cleanse my face properly (morning, noon, night time washing using cetaphil wash, followed by oil free moisturizer. Food habit is normal mostly vegetarian.
