My husband was taking nexito ls.(escitalopram+clonazepam) combination .currently he stopped it .he is getting nice sleep .but he feels some withdrawal symptoms. Like mild spark in brain .he is diabetic taking 2 times metformin 500 mg tab. N before 2 months he had mild stroke. please suggest what to do for withdrawal symptoms?

Instead of stopping medicine all of the sudden you can stop is slowly by tapering down the dose. Other option is just wait, withdrawal symptoms would go away in a week or two. All the best

Never stop the medications without psychiatrist advise, there is bound to be some withdrawal which can lead to other complications. There is a way to taper and stop of symptoms are under control for long. Good luck.
