Doctor prescribed lipicard 160 for triglyceride. My triglyceride level was 260 but after taking lipicard it came down to 150. L stopped lipicard 160 mg but after two months it again increased to210. L started to take again. But one problem is that my creatinine level increased from 1 to 1.4.any other medicine for triglyceride that does not increase creatinine.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user. It looks like you are treating the lab values yourself. It is always wise to consult a doctor before changing the dose or stopping a medication. You need to do a complete fasting lipid profile to know your hypercholesterolemia and whether you need a medication. Regarding your creatinine values, you may need further evaluation.
