I am 42 years old woman and taking thyrox 88 mcg and telmisartan 40 for last eight months my recent blood test results are t3 -1.03 ng/ml: t4 -12.13 microgram/dl and tsh- 0.341 no sugar, bp 164/97, heart rate 82 b/m. Please suggest me suitable medicines and please adjust the dose of thyroxine.

Poonam ji, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. TSH 0.341 mU/L is lower than even the lower limit. Plus T4 is fairly high. This suggests that present dosage is a bit high. That needs to be reduced. So cut down 12.5 mcg per day to 75 mcg per day. Then check TSH after 6 weeks. It should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L, at which level most of the symptoms are in check.
