I am madhulika tiwari. I am 29 years old. My height is 5" 5' and my weight is 54 kg. My tsh was 5.35 when I got pregnant I was prescribed to take thyronorm 50 mcg. After delivery I stopped taking pills. My delivery date is 6th may. And I checked my thyroid at 7 july. My tsh is 11.35 and t4 is 4.2. Can I breastfeed my baby. I didn't go through the checkup of my baby fir thyroid.

Hello lybrate-user. Yes, you can breastfeed your baby. And consult an endocrinologist as your tsh levels are high and you should use thyroid medication. Also, get your baby checked for his/her thyroid status.
