My wife is 34 years old. She having nurv problems since 2014 for depression and anxiety. From last 2 years she is well. Now since last one month she getting breathing trouble and upper chest pain with hichki simultaneously. Basically it's always happens after taking lunch. After recovery she getting very tired. I consulted with her doctor and said may be due some tension may be caused.in this situation rivotril 2 mg using. After 10 minutes it's totally resolved. But she getting pain on upper chest. Ecg report is well as per doctor. Pressure is normal. Medicine taking zyven od 50, oliza 2.5 and inderal la 20. rivotril is taking at time of trouble. My question is she not in now any anxiety. Why this will happen every day. Basically after taking lunch. Kindly suggest.

Some people have anxiety like your wife. It happens due to altered neurotransmitters in the mind (brain). So kindly continue the medications as per your psychiatrist advise. There can be remissions and exacerbations. Meanwhile try to get hold of a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist who does cognitive behavioral therapy too, with whom she can talk in privacy for sometime to try to resolve her inner conflicts if any. Rivotril 2 mg , really.... it's hugh time to think of alternative one. As u have rightly pointed out why it's happening after food ?? Do one endoscopy and USG abdomen and we will see that asap.. she is in a mixture of medication which is helping her without even sure if which one is working actually. it's time to find best for her and start therapy sessions... see you Mr Sen good night
