My dad suffering from lungs infection n some fluids come to his left lung too so doctor advice him an antibiotic moxikind-cv 625 ,amrox ls syrup and a multivitamin tablet. Is it enough for this treatment? simultaneously he z feeling fever, headache and restlessness at night. So doctor gave paragreat 650. please suggest what to do.

Dear Lybrate user, fluid in lungs is called pleurisy, this happens due to many reasons - including infections like tb, pneumonia. Please get following tests 1. Cbc esr gbp 2. Pleural fluid examination and cbnaat or tb pcr (by blood) you can send these reports along with old reports and treatment record for second opinion to me. Wishing good health.
