Hello, I am diabetic since 1 years ,i m taking glyciphage for 6 months bt I felt no relief in my sugar level ,my fasting sugar is 370 and since last month I am taking galvus met 500 mg and glynase mf twice in a day, this medicines controlled my sugar level but it cause stomach pain and severe loose motions and gas and due to lighten there is no doctor available in clinic and when I am not taking medicine there is lots of burning and pain in my legs and hands, I am confused please prescribe me some other medicine.

Continue Glynase MF twice daily but stop galvus met. Instead take tab. Istamet 100 mg one daily.

Dear lybrate-user as I can see your diabetic since past 1 yr, and your blood sugars are not under control, you need to change the medications before that I could like to know few blood investigation please do fasting and post prandial at least in glucometer (blood sugar checking machine), if possible kindly check hb1ac, and let me know.
