Hello, Thanks for the query. Madam< your after food glucose level is quite good. Fasting is a bit high as it should be preferably closer to 100 mg or less. There is no need to worry about. What is needed is to watch your diet, avoid sweets, deep fried foods, bakery items, increase intake of green leafy vegetables, salads, fruits like orange, sweet lime, apple, pear, guava, pomegranate, kiwi etc. Exercise regularly for at least 1 hour a day. Maintain near normal weight. Please understand in diabetes medicines are just one part of the treatment. More important is to control diet, exercise and maintain near normal body weight. Dear lybrate-user I can see you are being diagnosed diabetes and on treatment. I would like to suggest to add few more investigation like hba1c that's because your fasting is more then ppbs till then my suggestion is to take tablet istavel 45 minutes before food, do regular exercise, eat regularly on time.
