My 21 months old son was injured due to scalding by milk and the wound is on his scalp just above left side of forehead. I am applying silverex ionic and now the wound is completely drybfrom outside and it looks like scab will fell off in 2-3 days. There is also wound on cheeks which is brown in colour and had blister but it got burst on its own. The skin is now brown in colour and there is no water coming. Its been 5 days since he got injured. Local doctor said that its not a deep burn though blister was formed. Can you please suggest what is the level of injury and will hypertrophy scar form? My child is doing well and there is no sign of pain.

Most scalds are not deep and carry a very good recovery with minimum scars

Medications seem appropriate. You will have to upload the images of those areas for us to assess the degree of burn.

There will definitely be a scar. But can't tell whether it will be hypertrophic scar.

Blister means a second degrees burn, scar may form, hypertrophic scar may not.

Usually burns improve rapidly in children with very little scarring. Just relax and wait and watch. Silvered application is good enough.
