Good evening. Melasma is a very stubborn condition to treat. Triglow and similar creams are only to be used under the supervision and for a duration as decided by your treating dermatologist. Based on your initial response to the cream, your treating doctor may advise prescribe or replace creams and even offer other treatment options- if applicable in the meantime, practise strict sun avoidance/protection and use a sunscreen regularly. Melasma is notoriously prone aggravate on sun exposure.
