Hi, my dentist prescribed stolin gum paint along with scaling. I am using stolin from more than a week but it is irritating my throat. Even after spitting out the extra, my throat gets irritated & I have to drink water again & again or do salt water rinses. Is gum paint giving allergy & should I stop using it?

Usually gum astringents won’t cause irritation,take in less quantity,few drops,in the bed of your fingers (index and thumb finger) and massage along the gums (upper and lower as well), and leave it for at least 15 min,usually that wouldn’t cause allergies, If still your throat irritates,stop using it!
