I am 30 years old recently diagnosed with pulmonary aspergilloma. A second opinion fungal culture of hemoptysis blood is positive for candida albicans. Can candida present as a pulmonary mycetoma without being invasive in a colonise post tb cavity? I am not immunocompromised.

Candida can be commential and mycetoma is due to aspergillosis for which operation needed if haemoptysis recurrent.
