I did online consultation for my dark patches on cheeks and bit on nose, I was prescribed for depig f cream, which was not available anywhere, I got melalite forte cream having same composition, but I got some redness or seems burning affects bon my skin next though it's lighten in next couple of day shall I continue same for my melasma or any other, it was prescribed for two week, pl advise can we apply moisture before applying this cream in night?

Use sunscreen in the day and use melalite forte cream for short contact, that is for one hour in the evening and then wash it off everyday. After 20 days of application consult a certified dermatologist and changes in the medicines may be made after a check up.

Melalite forte contain hydroquinone 4 percent which is a skin lightening agent (prescribed mostly in cases of melasma) but erythema is a side effect of this drug .for that reason low potent steroid is usually used as a combination formula to counteract erythema. Triple combination cream or hydroquinone is usually prescribed for 3 wks. And den maintainance formula (glycolic acid/ kojic acid/ vit c is used) yes you can use moisturizer before applying it at night. Use sunscreen during daytime. Thanks .take care.
